Founded in 1922, the Motion Picture Association (MPA) is recognized as the global voice of the motion picture industry. Its work ranges from protecting copyright and advocating for creative freedom to supporting technological innovation and new distribution models.

The association’s members include some of the biggest names in entertainment: Netflix, Paramount Pictures, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios, The Walt Disney Studios and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Borges has been an accredited journalist with the MPA since 2016. With this latest update, his affiliation now extends to Every Media Productions, the company he leads in the United States.

With nearly three decades of experience, Borges is one of Brazil’s most accomplished international journalists, having produced more than 4,000 reports across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

As a Hollywood correspondent, he has interviewed many of the industry’s most celebrated figures, including Clint Eastwood, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Pedro Pascal, George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, Ben Kingsley, Matt Damon, JK Simmons, and Brie Larson. He also regularly covers major award shows such as the Oscars and the Grammys.

For Borges, the renewed MPA accreditation is both recognition of his career and a gateway to strengthening his cultural coverage worldwide.

“The Motion Picture Association’s accreditation is essential for journalists who specialize in film. It opens doors, builds closer connections with the studios, and enhances the cultural reporting we bring to audiences in Brazil and around the world,” he says.

The award-winning journalist also highlights the significance of Every Media Productions’ inclusion in the MPA.

“It’s an honor to represent Brazil as an international correspondent and now to bring Every Media Productions into this prestigious space. Our commitment to high-quality cultural journalism values the entertainment industry and connects audiences with Hollywood’s biggest productions,” Borges adds.

Since 2009, Fábio Borges has been a prominent voice in international journalism, combining his expertise in global news coverage with a sharp focus on the world of cinema and entertainment.
